prepare your body, your mind, and your spirit
to meet your baby with joy.
New parents can be overwhelmed by options, opinions, and a whole lot of fear-mongering.
It’s increasingly difficult to find comprehensive, nuanced and real-world education.
01
pick a side
Expectant parents can feel like they need to join Camp Epidural or Team Natural Birth, with no gray area between.
02
how to be “flexible”
Everyone says “just be flexible”, but what does that really mean? How can you feel both present and ready for plot-twists?
03
No boogey-men
smnething about villifying the establishment
balanced, comprehensive education
Every birthing person (and their partner) benefits when they know how to deal with exhaustion, frustration, procedures, contractions and the UNKNOWN.
You can be ready for the REALITY of birth, not just a fantasy. Gird your loins for the hard work of contractions with tried-and-true mindfulness techniques, comfort positions and nervous system tricks.
Picture yourself with your baby in your arms, knowing you did this thing, fully engaged and ready to roll with WHATEVER birth brought you.
That’s a good birth. Kick-ass, even.

Absolutely. When I hit the “record” button on the very first video, I promised myself I would make something I could stand by. And I do. If you aren’t happy for any reason in hte first 30 days, just send me an email for a full refund.
It is a completely self-paced online course – you decide when you start and when you finish.
Forever! Register for the course once and you’ll have lifetime access to the course materials. Which is nice, because it turns out that parenting also requires coping techniques.
The course materials are shared as video content, audio downloads and a course workbook. So, whether you prefer to read, write, watch or listen to the content, you’ll be covered.
That really depends. There are a lot of flavors of childbirth education out there. The vast majority have an emphasis on WHAT could happen, but not HOW you will get through it. And the few that do focus on coping are often biased toward a specific sort of birth experience. This course is unique as a skill-building course. It’s a fantastic pairing with other ways you are preparing for birth.
I mean, yeah. This stuff is ancient (ok, the medical coping is new), so the information is out in the world. However, I’m going to save you a lot of time and mental filtering. Birth preaparation is LOADED with opinions. Having attended hundreds of births, I’ve tested and tried so many different tricks and tactics. Here I’m bringing you a system that works, taking you from early labor to active labor, through medical intervention, working with your partner, pushing and even just after birth. While it’s impossible to now exactly how your birth will unfold, the factors that help people cope are universal.
My honest answer after 20 years of doula work: 85% of the time, Epidurals work perfectly. However, the intensity of birth is more that just contraction pain. There’s fatigue, nausea, irritation, medical navigation, procedures, the unknown. Even waiting for and GETTING an epidural can require coping. We cover it all.
